A prickly subject...

Guess what or rather who I almost fell over last night!
I just popped down to the studio to grab something
and met this little fellow...
Scoffing slugs
My hero!
Eat those slugs Mr Prickles
my garden and I are grateful :D

Gentle reminder that November's Scavenger Photo hunt is the last for this year, but don't worry it will start again in the new year. However, Julie from Julie's Scrapbook is running a daily scavenger hunt all through December and I shall be joining in - pop over and have a look, there is still time to join in x

  1. Oh, how cute & what a sweetie gobbling up the slugs. UK ones are so monstrous too, as I've seen them. Ugh! Hope you are having a great weekend. Take care.

  3. I adore hedgehogs. We had baby ones in our garden one year....you had to be careful where you trod in the evening as they gamboling about all over the place!

  4. Wonderful news! I've seen one at the old house years ago. Here I've seen 'evidence' in the garden but not an actual sighting. You were very lucky. Arn't they noisy!!!

  6. We used to have hedgehogs in our garden but do not see as many now, plenty of slugs though! Our old retriever was a big fan of these prickly creatures and brought them indoors to show us,we always knew when he found one. Brought back memories thankyou.

  8. We too have a slug eating resident at the community allotment project, the children was so excited to see her this week, she must have moved into our new hedgehog housie.

  9. Awww he's so cute - I'm yet to find one in my garden but I know they're in the area - Mum lives across the road and she has baby hoggies in her garden, she feeds them peanuts so I'm not sure how many slugs they're eating!
